Conditions Treated

Treatment is available for a variety of chronic and acute pain conditions namely back pain, neck pain, muscle and joint pain, lower extremity pain, nerver pain, foot pain, sports injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries and head pain.

We offer a range of Interventional Pain Management procedures aimed at alleviating your acute and chronic pain. The procedures are done out-patient, and involve minimally invasive techniques to target specific areas of pain, and provide much desired pain relief. In many situations, the procedures can offer options that can help patients avoid surgery.

Procedures Offered

  • Epidural Steroid Injections (ESI)
These injections are effective for conditions like spinal stenosis and herniated discs, and provide significant relief for chronic back, neck and thoraic region pain. We offer Lumbar, Thoracic, Cervical and Transforaminal Epidural Steroid Injections.
  • Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
A minimally invasive procedure that uses radiofrequency waves to target specifc nerve fibers, that stops them from spending pain signals to the brain. RFA is available for lumbar, sacroiliac, thoracic, cervical, and knee areas.
  • Diagnostic Medial Branch Blocks (MBB)
These blocks help to identify the pain source in the facet joints. MBB is available for lumbar, thoracic and cervical areas.
  • Joint and Trigger Point Injections
Joint Injections involve delivering anti-inflammatory medications directly into the affected joint whereas Trigger Point Injections involve injecting a small amount of anesthetic into the trigger point. Both injections provide effective pain relief. Joint injections can be targeted to Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist, Knee, Hip, Ankle and Sacroiliac joints.
  • Facet Joint Injections
These injections involve delivering an anesthetic and an anti-inflammatory steroid to the small joints at each spine segment. This treatment is ideal for patients dealing with pain resulting from inflammation or arthritis in their facet joints.
  • Botox for Migraines
Botox injections significantly reduce the frequency and severity of migraine episodes, and are a proven treatment for chronic migraines. By injecting Botox into specific areas around the head and neck, we can prevent the activation of the pain networks involved in migraines.
  • Sacroiliac Joint Injections
These injections involve administering an anesthetic and steroid directly into the affected area, offering targeted pain relief. They are more suited for individuals suffering from lower back and leg pain caused by inflammation in the sacroiliac joint.
  • Spinal Cord Stimulation Trials (SCS)
SCS involves the implantation of a small device that sends electrical pulses to the spinal cord to mask pain signals before they reach the brain. It has been shown to dramatically improve the quality of life for many patients suffering from chronic pain conditions.
  • Peripheral Nerve Stimulation Trials (PNS)
PNS targets specific peripheral nerves causing pain using a small device that emits electrical pulses to interrupt pain signals. PNS is more suited for localized nerve pain.
